AnyBook Terms of Use

1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using AnyBook, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the application.
2. Service
AnyBook provides local e-book reading and optional features such as dictionaries, translation, text-to-speech, online libraries, recommendations, feedback, and cloud synchronization. Features may change, become unavailable, or depend on third-party services.
3. Your content and responsibilities
You are responsible for the book files, text, images, credentials, and other content you use with AnyBook. You must have the rights and permissions required by applicable law and must not use the application for unlawful activity.
4. Third-party services
Optional services such as Firebase, Open-Meteo, Microsoft Edge TTS, Cloudflare, dictionary and AI providers, translation providers, online-book sources, Google Drive, and Supabase are governed by their own terms and availability.
5. Intellectual property
AnyBook and its original software, design, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of AnyBook or third-party content to you.
6. Privacy
Use of AnyBook is also governed by the Privacy Policy available at /privacy.
7. Disclaimer and limitation
The application is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. AnyBook does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, preservation of third-party services, or suitability for a particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, AnyBook is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss resulting from use of the application or third-party services.
8. Changes and termination
These terms may be updated when the application or legal requirements change. You may stop using AnyBook at any time by uninstalling it. Access may be limited when necessary to protect the service or comply with law.
